Choose Your Perfect Mobile Massage Style

I understand, your goal is to get a great massage, bodywork or hypnosis session; relax and recharge. Whether this is your first massage or your thousandth; one person or a group visiting the island looking for a day of relaxing by the pool or ocean while alternating turns getting massages all are welcome here with me. You can mix and match modalities from the options below or wait to discuss all the choices with Laura at time of service. No stress about the choosing, remember this is relaxing massage.

Pregnancy Massage

I trained with the best for pregnancy massage, Carole Osborne. We will use the sidelying position for your session and you will be surprised as to what a great way to receive a massge this position makes for. I also use the sidelying position often for athletes and sports massage sessions. Getting a prenatal massage while you are on your BabyMoon on Maui can be a wonderful way to support the physical and emotional health of both mother and baby during this special time.

Swedish Massage

Don't scoff at Swedish Massage or proclaim it doesn’t do anything. It is one of the MOST powerful massage modalities which is often ignored. Its long, smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements on the muscles lead to: improved blood circulation, reduced muscle tension, increased immune response, released endorphins, and an overall relaxed state which will lead to a better you.

Myofacial Release and Sports Massage

I will be incorporating massage styles from all the things I have learned while studying Erik Dalton’s courses and my training with the Rolf Guild for Structural Integration. You will be asked to lie a certain way and possibly even make some movements while receiving this session. No sleeping during this one.

Deep Circulatory Massage

Deep circulatory massage is deep but NOT bone crushing. We will go deep to relieve your muscle adhesions and supposed “knots” but I will not be simulating a thera-gun or chain saw for you in this session. This modality will be therapeutic rather than pain inducing.

Massage Cupping

The silicon massage cups I use are powerful tools when it comes to softening tissue, releasing "tight" spots and calming otherwise fidgety massage recipients. Do you feel like your fascia is laminated tightly to your muscles causing restrictive movement? Yes? Then massage cupping is the perfect choice for you. Are you wishing to increase your fluidity and lymphatic flow? I suggest you try some cupping if so.

Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi Massage

Lomi-Lomi means ‘to rub’ and this Hawaiian style type of massage does just that. You can lomi fish with salt or lomi the body with massage oil. This massage style is not too different than Swedish Massage except it incorporates more forearm work on the client by the therapist and a bit more stretching

Reiki

The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words – Rei and Ki. “Rei” means universal, and “ki,” means vital life force energy that flows through all living things. We ALL have access to this universal energy and you probably use it on a regular basis. I incorporate this into every massage session but you may also choose to have this as a stand alone session.

Face and Scalp Massage (Champi)

If you like your face or scalp massaged then Champi is EXACTLY what you are looking for and I can do it for you. This modality can easily be added on to any massage or you can have a full glorious hour spent entirely on your face and scalp. Face and Scalp massage is very very very relaxing and is not to be confused with a facial as I am not an esthetician.
