Are you looking for ease of movement throughout your work day or sports activities? Therapeutic Massage brings your body into deep states of relaxation but what does that actually mean? To be relaxed is to attain equilibrium following the abrupt removal of some influence whether it be high temperature, muscle fatigue or stress. A relaxed muscle is inactive and lengthened which means more available energy for work, activity or play.

The Rolf Method is a process (not instantaneous) which if you stick with it you will reap the rewards not limited to but may include Better Posture, Less Strain, Tension and Discomfort.

Rather than chasing symptoms of pain this comprehensive form of MyoSkeletal Alignment works to increase your options for moving and being. This means that I will not be digging my elbow into that painful spot of yours between your shoulder blades on 10 consecutive sessions for 90 minutes, rather we will both be working to open up the front of your body which is tugging on your back muscles resulting in your "tight knot" between your shoulder blades (the tightness is actually in the front of you body and your back is overstretched, weak and hanging on for dear life).

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle hands on therapy used to access fascia around the brain and spinal cord and anywhere on the body  in order to release restrictions. Its subtlety is profound as it helps the body to help itself.  It is very light in touch.

Reiki is a style of energy bodywork in which tissues of the body are not manipulated nor is physical force or touch applied to the body system being worked on.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s. Reiki is administered by “lying on hands” and techniques such as this have been practiced for thousands of years.

The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words – Rei and Ki. Reiki can be administered in a pure Reiki session or integrated into any bodywork session given by a Reiki practitioner.

As of June 2019 I have recently completed my Hypnotherapy training with Hypnosis Motivation Institute. I’m super excited to now offer this service to you while you are living or vacationing on Maui. Pure or blended Hypnotherapy Sessions are done in person or Hypnosis sessions can also be done via Skype or Zoom.

Hypnotherapy Pure or Blended with Mobile Massage, CranioSacral, Reiki or Reflexology is offered island wide on Maui, Hawaii.

Give it a try and you will see for yourself how much more effective your massage session is. You may be shocked at how your body will respond and how you will reach a depth of relaxation you never ever knew existed in yourself.

If you really want to go for it it’s possible to make a concrete change in your subconscious behavior system along with your massage session.

For example, do you have some sort of chronic pain spot which just never goes away no matter how much digging, prodding and poking (hammering) is focused on it?  Hypnotherapy focused toward the goal of releasing this alien creature living in your tissue COMBINED with some deep tissue or myofascial release may be just the tool that has been missing in the past.  Hypnotherapy along with some bodywork may be the winning combination which can help to ameliorate this nagging pain once and for all.

Or maybe you are trying to shed some fat cells while you’re on your Maui Vacation.  It is quite seamless to integrate some Hypnotherapy in with your Massage or Bodywork session.  Every suggestion becomes even more magnified in power as you can really feel your tissues changing throughout the massage and your cells following the directions to coincide with a faster metabolism, increased energy for exercise etc.

Check out my blog for more information about what I’m doing with Hypnotherapy

For more than 20 years now I have been practicing the Art of Massage and Bodywork on a wide variety of human bodies. The Massage Cupping modality has kind of blown me away as far as how ridiculously, stupidly simple they are to use and how profoundly powerful the cups are in softening tissue, releasing "tight" spots and calming otherwise fidgety massage recipients.

If you have a hard time relaxing and letting go of all your tension that's been accumulating in your body then this is definitely the modality for you to try and become madly in love with.  If you have a trigger point or nasty ‘knot” which refuses to leave your body then Cupping is definitely the option I would urge you to try.

My teacher Judy Taylor has this to say about Lymphatic Gua Sha, " Feel better and improve your overall health by giving your lymphatic system an energizing workout with Gua Sha, a 2,000 year old traditional Chinese method of promoting qi and blood circulation. Gua Sha also removes toxic heat, blood and lymph from the body–the type of toxins that build up over time and make us ill."

It is believed that there are maps resembling the human body on the ears, hands and feet of the human body. Reflexology is the art of stimulating the Reflex points on these maps in order to allow the body to return to it's normal, relaxed state of homeostasis.

An Integrated Foot, Hand & Ear Reflexology Session on Maui is an entirely different state of relaxation and re-balancing than you have ever experienced (if you have then you know what I'm talking about). Also great for those of you who don’t enjoy massage and would rather keep your clothes on during your session and not have oil/lotion all over your body.  Reflexology is also easily integrated into Massage Therapy sessions.

Dear Laura,
Please add this to your testimonials:

Just had reflexology with Laura.
Was wonderful! I have had several different people in my past and Laura is definitely great! Recommend her highly.
